April 23 to 29, 2017 is National Volunteer Week. It is also the 14th consecutive year that Volunteer Canada delivers the National Volunteer Week (NVW) campaign. Thank you, Canadian volunteers, for 150 glorious years.
And thank you, Osteoporosis Canada volunteers, for 35 wonderful years, as we celebrate our 35th anniversary on June 17.
Volunteering at Osteoporosis Canada (OC) comes in many forms and is as diverse as Canada itself. Volunteers attend health fairs or speak to community and corporate groups; some undertake essential administrative tasks; others plan and implement fundraising events; and some sit as members of our Board of Directors or Scientific Advisory Council to provide strategic direction and medical guidance to the organization.
Your efforts have a positive impact on people living with osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures in communities across Canada!
