Biography:

I have been a full time, full spectrum practicing Family Physician in Ancaster Ontario for 33 years with an interest in continuing medical education for Family Physicians for all that time. In the last 7 years, I have had an interest in osteoporosis and have co-chaired and developed an education program in osteoporosis and falls for the Ontario College of Family Physicians. This educational program has been funded by the Ontario Ministry of Long Term Care and we continue to update the program and present it to physicians across the province and nationally at times as well. We have developed a train the trainer for this program so that other Family Physicians and specialists can present these workshops.

Professional Awards and/or Accomplishments:

  1. President of the Ontario College of Family Physicians, 1995-1996
  2. Award of Excellence from the College of Family Physicians of Canada 2008 for excellence in clinical care, teaching and leadership
  3. Award of Excellence from the Ontario College of Family Physicians 2008
