The Executive Committee meets monthly to chart the direction and oversee the activities of the Canadian
Osteoporosis Patient Network (COPN). Its key responsibilities are to:
o Build and maintain a database of people who voluntarily
register with COPN
o Provide support to people affected by osteoporosis
through regular communication
o Advocate on behalf of those affected by osteoporosis for
comprehensive access to diagnosis, treatment and care
o Provide the patient perspective within Osteoporosis
Canada’s programs and activities, and
o Provide the patient perspective to researchers and
research activities.
