Priscilla Cole and Ina Ilse are members of the Knowledge Exchange Task Force, which is affiliated
with the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis under the Umbrella of the Canadian Institute of
Health Research. Their Mandate is to take Research information and make it user-friendly and accessible to
all osteoporosis health consumers. Since its inception in 2004, they have attended several
ground-breaking workshops.
Priscilla Cole and Ina Ilse have attended the first two meetings of the Advisory Committee to the Ontario
Osteoporosis Strategy, Osteoporosis Canada. Their aim is to ensure that the patient perspective is
represented in the new educational materials being developed for people 50+ by the Osteoporosis Canada staff
working on the Strategy.
