Bio

Dr. Suzanne Morin
Montreal, Quebec
June 2005

Dr. Morin is an academic internist at the McGill University Health Centre and has been involved in the osteoporosis field since 1991. She is presently working towards a Masters in Epidemiology and Biostatistics with a view to applying this expertise to the field of osteoporosis. Dr. Morin is a member of the National Board of Directors of Osteoporosis Canada and a consultant with Osteoporosis Canada's Scientific Advisory Council. She has been involved in teaching physicians, allied health professionals and the public about osteoporosis and its management for many years. Dr. Morin was the proud recipient of the Douglas Kinnear Award for Best Teacher Award in Internal Medicine in May 2001, the Canadian Association for Medical Education 2005 Certificate of Merit 2005 and the McGill Faculty of Medicine Honour List for Educational Excellence 2005. She sits on many advisory boards and has been an active participant on a number of research projects, including the ROCQ (Recognize Osteoporosis and its Consequences in Quebec) initiative.
