Support group meetings
2011 Osteoporosis
Support Group Meetings
The Ottawa Chapter of Osteoporosis Canada has support groups for persons with low bone density or
osteoporosis. New groups in Kanata and Orleans are just getting organized and a well established support
group is held monthly at The Good Companions Seniors Centre. These meetings, provide people who have
osteoporosis or low bone density with opportunities to give and receive emotional and practical support,
exchange information and listen to guest speakers.
