The sixth Theater, Port and Chocolate Evening - $ 7,000 To Fight Osteoporosis!

On May 4, 2011 the Québec Chapter held its 6th Evening of Port, Chocolate and Theatre at le Théâtre de la Bordée.

This greatly appreciated event raised $ 7,000 to fund education and awareness activities related to osteoporosis. The port and the chocolate were courtesy of the SAQ and Kraft Foods respectively.

The guest of honor for the evening was Québec’s Minister of Health and Social Services, Yves Bolduc. He encouraged the efforts of the Québec Chapter and stressed the importance of implanting therapeutic management for fractures patients, a priority for Osteoporosis Canada.

A Visit from the Quebec Minister of Health and Social Services.

On January 23, Minister Yves Bolduc stopped by to chat with the Quebec Chapter volunteers who were manning our kiosk at the Salon Équilibre Santé Forme in the Laurier shopping centre. We thank the Minister for his support.
