following areas:
Vice Chair:
This individual becomes a member of the Chapter Executive and is responsible for providing support to the
Chairperson, helping to carry some of the leadership responsibilities (as delegated). Also plays a role
in the area of Chapter growth.
History Book:
Our chapter has been working on creating a “History of Our Chapter” book. We would love to include your
story of how you came to volunteer with the Saskatoon Chapter and how long that you have been with us.
Please send us an email or letter with your story! We also are looking for a History Book Editor.
Lead Volunteers:
We are need of someone to be a lead volunteer in regards to following up with grants after we have acquired
them, most of these have to be completed by January. We also are looking for someone to come in once a
week to handle banking.
Community Outreach Coordinator:
This individual provides leadership in the development and implementation of Osteoporosis Canada’s “Make Your
First Break Your Last” awareness campaign activities at a local/community level and is responsible for being
the key contact for the Chapter’s local program. This would be a five to six-month volunteer placement
with the Chapter, three to four hours per week to start

Long-term Care Educator; Tradeshow Presenters; Pharmacy Information Presenters; Physical Activity Information
Presenter; Fundraisers.
