Available positions / Volunteer postings

The Nova Scotia Chapter is looking for volunteers to assist, where you can, with the following committees:

  • Annual Bone China Tea Committee (held in November 2009) - various positions are available. Your assistance is required to facilitate with on site registration; contact and invite previous attendees to the 2009 Tea; fund raise for the silent auction. We have something for everyone and your help will be appreciated.

  • Fundraising Committee - (ongoing) Sales of pearl jewellery. Show your support, sell the lovely pearls in your community. We are also looking for volunteers to assist with the fundraising for auction items.

  • Volunteer Development Committee - recruit and manage Chapter volunteers. We are working on updating a database of volunteers.

  • Advocacy Committee - we need volunteers to assist with various tasks during our Advocacy campaigns. Additionally, we need people to assist during Public Education events.

If you want to get involved, please contact us, any help will be appreciated. Remember, no experience is required. All we ask is, you have the desire to work as part of a team and to improve the lives of those living with osteoporosis. We will provide all training.
