‘Supporting the Newly Diagnosed’
This program is designed for individuals who have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis. Once a month,
we offer them the opportunity to attend a presentation containing accurate and pertinent information and
introduce them to the variety of resources available through our office. Additionally, they can share their
stories and have their questions answered.
If you or someone you know has recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis, contact the office for further
information.
'Osteoporosis - Navigating a new sense of self'
This is a seven-session peer support group program. Sessions are free but registration is required.
Participants will receive interactive information about bone health and have the opportunity to actively
engage in discussions and share experiences. A new topic will be addressed each month in two Winnipeg
locations. Through generous funding, there is no cost to participants.
