British Columbia Division

Until October 2008, Osteoporosis Canada operated a division office in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is with great regret that we announce the closure of the BC division office effective October 31^st, 2008.

The BC Division played key roles in supporting the vision and mission of Osteoporosis  Canada  : it operated as a Chapter, organized fundraising activities, and filled the function of a regional body by working on provincial advocacy and supporting the work of our Chapters and Branches in BC. This level of administrative service proved too costly for Osteoporosis  Canada   to sustain, and led to our decision to restructure our activities and organization in BC.

In no way is this decision a reflection on the hard work, knowledge and dedication of the BC Division council members, volunteers or staff, who have worked tirelessly to serve both the local community as well as the Chapters and Branches across the province. We will continue to serve the communities in  British Columbia   through the following Chapters:
