About the presenter: Andrea Miller graduated with honours from Ryerson University’s undergraduate program in human nutrition. She went on to complete her dietetic internship at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. Since completing her internship Andrea has worked in a wide range of dietetic practice settings, including Family Health Teams, coordinating nutrition care in six Long Term Care Homes across Ontario, facilitating a dietetic Internship Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and running her own nutrition consulting practice. In 2011, Andrea completed her Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, in Oshawa. Andrea’s research focused on the workforce characteristics of dietitians in Ontario. Andrea sits on the Board of Directors of Dietitians of Canada, she is a sessional instructor at UOIT and she is a mentor for a number of consulting dietitians across Canada. Andrea has been a o-editor for a number of textbook chapters in addition to presenting a number of times at the annual Dietitians of Canada National Conference. Andrea currently runs a full-time private practice in Whitby, Ontario.
